Through My Eyes

552nd entry ~ He'll talk to me when he's ready

5:48 pm
So I'm officially 19. Woopie. I really don't care. It's just another number. However I'm quite excited about my 20th. lol Last year of being a teenager!!

I did not get the chance to talk to Ryan Friday and I'm almost wondering if that was for the best. If we had talked the way I wanted to, things might be worse than they already are. I just went to class, came back and watched Run away Bride on TBS with Julie. It was nice. Packed up and left. I had to make three trips to the car however, but I did leave. My weekend wasn't too bad. Work Friday, off Saturday and Sunday. Went to the football game on Saturday with mom. We stayed until half time and then went back to my room to finish watching it there. Left Whitewater and went to Fazollis in Janesville for dinner. it was good. Krista and I went to see Man of the Year at Movies 10 for the 9:40 showing. The new yearbook teacher was there so I got to meet him. He was kind of weird and all towards me. It was just strange! haha The movie was good though. The previews only show the funny stuff, but most of the movie is actually based around a serious event. Soooo...it was good though. Oh, and before the movie I got a Starbucks hot chocolate...OMG...it's made with REAL chocolate!!! I was so excited! It was soo good too!!!

Sunday was of course my birthday. Mom woke me up and said happy birthday and I'm like "oh yeah." I kind of forgot. haha Not the top thing on my mind. Dad and I went shopping for some computer stuff, went and got mom's cell phone fixed and then went home. Grandma came over for dinner and then I packed up and left around 7:30. Got back here and made four trips with all the stuff I had. On my third trip down the stairs I seen Ryan coming up. Actually i had seen him in the parking lot trying to find a spot, but I didn't actually know it was him. But I seen him coming up and I said hi and he said hi back. I said "I need you help hooking some computer stuff up. Do you know anything?" He said "Not really" and I responded with "You're no help!" I got the final stuff from my room and his door was already closed. I threw everything down and got on the phone with mom and took my inhaller. Talked to her for a bit when Ryan came back and asked what I needed help with. Not going to repeat the conversation, but he didn't take some of the stuff well, so again we're on rocks. I tried smoothing things out last night, and again today but I'm not sure it's really working. I need to give him space and that's perfectly fine with me. He left his door open for a little bit today which is the first time in over a week that he's done that. I was so nervous the whole time though. I was sitting here doing stuff and I'm just trying to think what he's thinking about. I thought about getting up to say hi, but I didn't. I just keep saying "He needs his space." He'll talk to me when he's good and ready. I understand this now.

Well I've got a dance thing to get ready for in a bit, so i must go. Talk later.

Amanda

PS: Mr B told me he's got 21 days of hell left....well my countdown says 26, so I'm confused!! haha
