579th entry ~ The day that changes Janesville history

Happy Columbus Day! Don't really understand why this holiday exists but I suppose it give the Post Office one more excuse to have a day off.
It's official! GM is closing their doors in Janesville! This of course is not good news for the towns people of Janesville, but it's good to get this out in the open since we've known since June that they would be closed by the end of the year. We are not stupid. GM shares are now selling at a 50 year low, what I would consider a penny stock, so the writing was on the wall. Very sad day in Janesville.
I successfully slept maybe two hours last night. I climbed into bed around one and was still wide awake by six. I took time though while I was not sleeping to do some research on acne. I've become obsessed with finding something to treat my acne now that I'm not on birth control. I'm going to give some new things a try as well as stop taking Vitamin A. I believe this is what is keeping me awake at night. I'll see though if this is the reason.
Wow, looks like the US Market rebounded quite successfully today. Good for it. Though I'm skeptical.
I made cookies!! Yum! But of course the bottoms are burnt. :( Still yummy though!!
