590th entry ~ First sticky snow of the year

I took the above pictures today. We had a very beautiful sunset tonight and some snow throughout the day. It was nice, but I heard it caused havic on the ride home tonight. Glad I wasn't one of those drivers!
Today was my first day actually doing the job I accepted to do. I got up at 3 AM with virtually no sleep under my belt. I figured this was going to happen. I tried my best though to remain awake before driving the very far distance of maybe 2 miles to get to work. I had a mini cappuchinno and ate some cereal and listened to the radio. I think I was excited for work so that helped a little bit. I trained with a very hyper women. Or maybe hyper is not the correct word, but knowledable and not afraid to voice an opinion. LOL The work seemed pretty straight forward so I think I'll pick up quick. It's just stocking the floors, but of course it' never 'just' that. It'll get easier, I hope, once I get further trained. Tomorrow I think I get certified to run the bailor for cardboard and such. Exciting stuff.
I came home and about died. I was so tired. The boy and I went and took a nap together. I'm not sure if I fell asleep or not, but I know once I got up I felt pretty good. That lasted most of the day, up until about an hour ago.
I emailed my father tonight to see how he's been. I also sent him some photos from today and from the recent past. We'll see what he says in responce.
I'm going to go read a few pages out of Twilight and sip my hot tea before bed. Yeah!
