Well I must start this entry out with a side note: It has taken me five minutes to get into Microsoft Word on my computer to type this entry up. My point: Microsoft sucks.
I must apologize for the lack of updating, but I’m pretty sure nobody cares anyway. I’ve been lazy; it’s the truth. When you start working a job that requires you to be up at 3:30 AM you tend to love nap times and do very little after that. Plus life has been busy with the holidays and all. I’m very glad they are over, and soon 2009 will be here and hopefully with the New Year will come a fresh start. Now lets hope that fresh start doesn’t get trashed on January 1st!
I am presently listening to Leona Lewis CD. It’s actually very good. I did not buy it though, I illegally downloaded it. Certain artists I will gladly support, but I am on a very big budget right now so I need to watch where my money goes. And $20 for a CD does not sound like a wise choice. It is very good though. So for those of you who have $20 to spare, please go out and buy the CD.
Above this wordage I have presently written are photos from Christmas. As you may be able to tell there are no humans in any of these pictures. I find this quite funny actually. These are pictures of Christmas day, or Christmas Eve? I guess I’d rather take pictures of nature than humans on such a special day. I spent Christmas Eve at moms first, then went to dads, then went to my aunt and uncles, then went to grandmas. Christmas morning was spent at moms, and then went to dads in the evening. That is the summery of my holiday vacation. Even better was the weather. I was originally going to leave my home on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, but then the weather had to play a factor into this. I had two choices. Drive through shit weather or drive through fucking shit weather. I choice shit weather. On a normal hour drive, it took me two and a half hours to get home on Tuesday. I was so thrilled to have wasted that much gas. Thank God I do not drive a truck. Gas is cheap in my opinion now (who would have ever thought the day we call gas cheap at $1.65?!) so it wasn’t a big deal. Then my drive home was just as lovely. It was foggy as hell; visibility in some places was less than 3 feet in front of you! I did make it home safely, so it is not a ghost writing this entry.
On another note, I do still have a job, as you may have noticed by my mention of 3:30 AM. I did get offered a permanent position with them and I did accept. I do plan to keep looking for another job in the meantime, but I guess for now this will have to do. I had to weigh my options quite literally. I either stay on unemployment for however much longer I have left, and take the chance that I may not qualify for an extension, or accept this job and lose my nice income from unemployment. But hope to God that I get a full time job elsewhere before I go mad and broke. I think if we watch our pennies we will be alright. Honestly though, I have no hope of getting a full time job that pays decent. This job now will remain part time, but I can pick up hours as desired. We shall see how this works out.
As mentioned above, my laziness is getting the best of me, so my desk and the rest of the apartment look like a bomb went off. Well, it’s not QUITE that bad! I did do a bunch of scrapbooking the last two days, so I’m not that lazy. But I must go and get a jump start on some cleaning. Tomorrow is 3 of 3 days to work, and tomorrow is also the last day of this terrible year. Hope the best to all, and may the New Year bring you as much hope as it will bring me. Take care. Talk soon.
