602nd entry ~ A new adventure I'm thinking.
3:09 pm
Just went to go grab my cup of tea and took a look outside to see big snow flakes coming down from the sky. How wonderful. Looks though that this will not amount to much as they have botched this forecast again. I'm very glad about that.
In the past 24 hours or so I have been contemplating a life changing event. I am toying with the idea of going to Chicago for St Patrick's Day parade. This would be a great photographic event for me of course, but it brings with a lot of excitement and worry of course. I'm not much of a million people crowd person which is exactly what this will be like. I despise the city of Chicago to begin with because of it's enormous size and bumper to bumper traffic. Not bad for only being there ONE time!! I am kind enough though to give it a second chance, plus I hear this is a great thing to see. The dying of the river and the THREE hour parade sounds very fun.
I would like someone to come down us, but I did not know his sister would be the one to jump into that picture. I have nothing against his sister, but she has a bum ankle, at least last I knew she did, and don't want to be slowed down because she can't walk. I refuse to take a taxi everywhere or the subway when you can walk and take in the city. My other concern with that picture is her husband. He's a great guy, overly protective of his family however which turns out to be a bad thing more than a good thing. To put it bluntly, I do not want to be banned from the entire city of Chicago because of one weekend. Get my drift? We'll have to see though. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the week, which I have a problem with that too, but I can be patient. I told her I wanted to get things booked ASAP and by the end of the week does not follow that guideline.
I am rather excited about this however, so I hope it does happen. I'm mostly excited about all the photos that may come out of this. I think that constitutes me as a geek. :)
I believe I have run out of thoughts to write about. I am very close to the end of Eclipse so I should try and finish it since it's taken me awhile to get to it and I'm excited to get to the fourth book!!
Random side note: Today is Wednesday. I thought yesterday was Wednesday, but I knew I didn't work today because today was Wednesday. I missed a TV show last night because I thought it was Wednesday. :( Poopy.
Well I'm now back in reality and do know what time it is and the date. I throw a little bit of confetti in the air because February is almost over! Yeah! Such a short month that serves no point, much like January. I say we take them off the calendar. :)
